Zöldborsó (“ZUHLD-BOR-SHOW”), also called cukorborsó (“sugar pea”), is grown everywhere in Hungary. Zöldborsó is most often used to make soup or főzelék. It runs in local markets from May until August, and is universally available frozen or canned year-round.
