The Zengő (“ZENG-EAU”) is an early ripening, high-yielding white wine grape created by Hungarian viticulturalist Ferenc Király in the 1950s by crossing the Ezerjó and Bouvier grapes. Along with its close cousin the Zenit, the Zengő is noted for its characteristic acidic yet aromatic and balanced wines.
