With this year’s grape harvest in Hungary already upon us, we are also heading into prime wine festival season. In addition to more famous ones like the upcoming Budapest International Wine and Champagne Festival, this weekend the Skanzen “folk park” up the Danube in Szentendre will play host to a grape harvest festival designed for the whole family. Budapesters take note that there are regular buses that leave from downtown, which may be a better idea than driving, especially if you are planning to bring the kids and drink. Fun!
