Vérnarancs

Blood Orange

Vérnarancs (“VEYR-NAR-ANCH”; literally “blood orange”), mostly imported from Spain, are sometimes found in Hungarian markets. Like other kinds narancs, they are considered a delicacy but do not play a role in typical Hungarian cuisine.
