Unbridled Hungarian Restaurant Food Porn, Without the Guilt

As much as we like to write, we know that what people who visit websites like this want most are not fancy words but beautiful pictures. The problem is that most of the time we are taking pictures of the stuff you want to see – of pretty restaurant food – we are in the “undercover” mode. While this is necessary for making an unbiased review, it makes it nearly impossible to produce the sort of sweet, glistening food porn pics like the ones surrounding these words, which were taken by local gastrophotographer Árpád Pintér – a.k.a. the “Pixeltaster” – to promote this week’s specials at the Gold Bisztró.

Happily, we think we’ve figured out a way to indulge our taste for unbridled food porn without making the sort of moral compromises that go with making regular porn. Basically, we will happily publish any such pics, as long as they seem interesting and pretty and relevant.

In the meantime, if you know of any restaurants with food that deserves to be laid out and snapped like a centerfold, we encourage you to send them Árpád’s way. And don’t forget, just because it’s food porn doesn’t mean it’s necessarily safe for work, especially if you are expected to eat your lunch at your desk.
