Túrógombóc

Curd Cheese Dumplings

Túrógombóc (“TOO-RO-GUM-BOHTS”) deliciously incorporates several Hungarian staples. The balls of curd cheese (thickened with flour and eggs) are boiled then slathered with buttery bread crumbs and served with warm, sweetened sour-cream sauce.
