Winter Salami

Téliszalámi (“TEA-LEE-SA-LAH-MEE”) is one of Hungary’s best-known pork products. The most popular brand is Pick Szeged. “Téli” means “winter,” and the name was given to the product in the early 20th century when salami production had to be restricted to cold months to ensure cooling of ingredients.
