Szilvásgombóc (“SEEL-VASH-GUM-BOHTS”) are whole plums enclosed in potato dough, boiled and then rolled in bread crumbs. They can be sprinkled with powdered sugar, and can be eaten as a dessert or a meal. The plums can also be replaced with apricots to make barackos gombóc.
