Szeremley
Huba Szeremley ("HOOBA SER-EM-LAY") is the best-known winemaker working in the Badacsony region, near Hungary's Lake Balaton. Szeremley revived his family vineyard in the mid-90's, and now produces roughly 850,000 bottles a year from a 150-hectacre estate planted in most white grapes ranging from "mainstream" Rieslings to some ancient Hungarian varietals such as Budai Zöld, Bakator, and Kéknyelű. He also runs a restaurant, called the Szent Orbán Wine House.
