Szekszárd

Wine Region

Szekszárd (“SEK-SAAHRD”) in the south of Hungary rivals Villány-Siklós as Hungary’s top red wine region, although it is mostly home to smaller winemakers. Szekszárd is home to the Kadarka grape, the main component of Szeksárd Bikavér.
