Szakácskönyve (Móra Ferencné)

Mrs. Ferenc Móra's Cookbook

Móra (1880-1953) was the wife of Ferenc Móra, the famous Hungarian writer. Her simply-titled Szakácskönyv was first published in 1928. According to Móra’s granddaughter, she was a perfectionist in the kitchen and was known to throw her dishes on the floor when the meal didn’t turn out as planned. Despite that, her recipes are sparse on details.
