Stíriai metélt (“SHTEER-EE-AY-EE-MET-ALE-T”) is part of the tészta category of Hungarian desserts. It is noodles made with túró, flour and eggs which have been boiled and then baked with a custard-like mixture of eggs, sugar, sour cream and egg whites.
