Restaurant Critic from UK Telegraph Misses Telegram on Local Restaurant Closings

The UK Telegraph had an upbeat piece yesterday about the “new breed” of high-end restaurants in Budapest, Prague and Bucharest. Included among the four reviews of BP luxury dining spots was this:

There’s no question of getting unfashionable goulash at Lou-Lou – although refined Original Hungarian Goulash à la 21st century is a possibility.

Well, actually not really, because Lou-Lou has been closed for the better part of a month. So remind us again why we are supposed to lend special credence to reviews of local joints just because they appear in big-name foreign newspapers? At least they didn’t say the chef was named “Ferenc Gyurcsány”. Sheesh.
