This recipe comes from Cigányok főztje (“Roma Dishes”) by Géza Csemer. Recipes in the book don’t contain any quantities for the ingredients, so there’s lots of leeway.
Ingredients:
Cauliflower, chopped into florets
Breadcrumbs
Butter
Sour cream
Cheese, grated
Method:
Cook the cauliflower florets in salted water and then place them in a baking pan over breadcrumbs which have been browned in butter. Pour some sour cream over the top and sprinkle with grated cheese. Cook in the oven until browned.
