In addition to yesterday’s just-in-the-nick-of-time announcement of tomorrow’s “Gluttonous Thursday” restaurant extravaganza, we’ve just gotten late word of another important local epicurean event that is happening even earlier, as in tonight. Last night we stopped in for a little bite at Top 33 touchstone Baraka, and discovered that this evening they will be offering a special six-course “coming out” dinner party in honor of the much-anticipated 2004 Kopár Cuvée by Attila Gere, which will be escorted by the following Gere family members:
- 2006 Villányi Rosé (Gere & Weninger)
- 2006 Villányi Olaszrizling
- 2004 Villányi Kékfrankos Prestige
- 2003 Phoenix Cuvée
- 2004 Kopar Cuvée
- 2004 Villányi Cabernet Savignon Barique
No word what will accompany all those gems, and what it costs, though it’s sure to be good. As they say, supplies are limited, so act now.
