A leading winemaker on Somló, Hungary’s smallest wine region, Lajos Oszvald (“LIE-OSH OS-VALD”) produces the volcanic mountain’s trademark Juhfark varietal, as well as Olaszrízling and a host of other dry whites.
The winery switched to organic winegrowing in 2001.
