Nyakas Budai Sauvignon Blanc 2007 (Etyek-Buda)

This wine from Nyakas was featured at Monarchia‘s 2008 portfolio tasting, and was retailing at that time for approximately Ft 1,850.

  1. Erik says:

Almost a parody of Sauvignon Blanc on the nose, but very nice. Perhaps a bit too light. Quite decent for the price.

  2. rupert says:

well, it’s too thin and uncharacteristic for a SB. probably it needs more time to evolve but for under 2,000 it not a bad buy.

  3. Zen says:

Pronounced cat piss, grass, hay notes on nose with lively acids getting the most out of pineapple and citrus fruit on the palate. Good stuff, like it.

  4. Zoltan says:

Sour to the taste and not full bodied. I would pass on this next time.
