With Fidesz’s crushing victory in the first round of the elections guaranteeing they’ll be able to form a government alone, some observers have suggested this rightward turn will lead to a revival of the more traditional aspects of Hungarian culture. If it means lángos, palacsinta and szörp stands on every corner – I’m in!!!
FYI –
Vasdas Marheszelet Zsemlegombóccal is better translated as Beef Vadas Style with Bread DUMPLINGS! Not “balls”.
*giggle
FYI–
I would tranlate palacsinta as crepe(s) rather than pancakes.
I totally agree, pancakes are thick, palacsintas are thin like crepes.
Actually it is only in North America where pancakes are thick.
If they had actually run on this platform they would have gotten even more votes.
