Neszmély (“NESS-MAY”) is a small white wine region located just 75 kilometers north of Budapest between the towns of Esztergom and Komárom across the Danube from Slovakia. Neszmély wines are often compared to those of the Rhine valley and Hilltop, the best known winery in the region, also enjoys an international reputation and is the largest exporter of Hungarian wines to Britain.
