Mesesajt

Cheese Variety

Mesesajt (“MEH-SHEH-SHOYT”) means “tale cheese,” as it was developed for children in the 1970s. It is a soft spreadable Hungarian cheese much like Mackó/Medve, except it is chocolate-flavored, and many people will find its taste strange. It has a large fanbase, though, possibly because it evokes nostalgic feelings. It is manufactured by ERU Hungária and is available at all major food chains in the dessert section.
