Marok

Handful

Marok ("MAH-ROHK") (also: marék) means "handful" in Hungarian, and is used as a unit of measurement in some Hungarian cookbooks.

One marok of sauerkraut is 350 grams, while one marok of sorrel leaves is 150 grams, for example.
