Poppy Seeds

Mák (“MACK”) is produced and consumed in enormous quantities in Hungary, which is also a leading European grower of poppies for medicinal opium. It has a wide variety of culinary uses, including mákos guba (poppy seed bread pudding) and mákos tészta (pasta with poppy seeds).
