Pie or Tart

Lepény (“LEP-ANE-EE”) is type of short-pastry made with butter, flour and eggs. It has many variants, with both sweet and savoury fillings, which are sandwiched between two layers of the pastry. Common sweet variations include plum, cherry, túró and kapros túrós (curd cheese and dill).
