Kuglóf

Sweet Bread

Kuglóf ("KUGE-LOFE") is a rich, sweet bread usually made with raisins and lots of milk. It often has cocoa added, or it can be glazed with chocolate icing. Sometimes Hungarians refer to cakes that Americans would call "coffee cake" as kuglóf.
