Királyleányka

Wine Varietal

Királyleányka ("KIR-AAHY-LE-AAHN-KAH") is an uncommon white grape originating in Transylvania, probably a cross between Kövérszőlő and Leányka. The "princess" is grown mainly in Balatonboglár, Etyek, Neszmély and Pannonhalma-Sokoróalja and yields aromatic, full-bodied wines that tend to age well.
