Hungarian Diners Breathlessly Await Arrival of German Mall Seafood Joint

nordsee.jpgHungary’s first Nordsee restaurant will open in Budapest’s WestEnd mall within a few weeks, reports Index.hu. The German company has been rumored to enter Hungary for two years, and the company confirmed the upcoming opening, but did not reveal more details on when it will happen or how many other restaurants they will open in the country. What’s interested is that, according to an online poll conducted by the portal in July, the arrival of Nordsee is the most-anticipated such foreign restaurant chain opening in Hungary, beating out Taco Bell and Starbucks, among others. Anyway, never enough seafood…

  1. Robi says:

Nordsee had a restaurant at Astoria, where the McDonalds is now… turists were not enough to keep them in business. Hungarians does not eat seafood at all so good luck at WestEnd D))))
