Hungarian Cuisine Still Worth Killing Trees For (and Celebrating!)

bookpartyinvitesmall.jpg

If you’re reading this page there’s a good chance you are a) interested in food and wine; b) in Budapest; and c) capable of communicating in English. But even if you aren’t, you are welcome at the first-ever non-virtual Chew.hu “do,” a launch party next Wednesday for the local edition of our overworked co-editor Carolyn Bánfalvi‘s quite fabulous new book, The Food and Wine Lover’s Guide to Hungary. (Yeah, we know – print: meh.) Anyway, in addition to the opportunity to get a discounted copy (or copies!) personally signed by Carolyn, there will be all the traditional accoutrements of a smart book party, including wine, snacks and sparkling conversation, at least until the wine and snacks run out. Tell your friends and see you there!
