Fruit Soup

Gyümölcsleves (“DGE-MULE-CH LE-VESH”) is very popular in Hungary, and made from a wide variety of fruits, from alma (apple) to meggy (sour cherry) and beyond. It is almost always served cold, and often with a dollop of habtejszín (whipped cream).
