Göcseji

Cheese Variety

Göcseji (“GUH-CHE-YI”) is a soft Hungarian cheese made from cow’s milk produced in Zalaegerszeg since 1930. It comes in four flavors: plain, green pepper (unripe black pepper), caraway and spicy paprika. For the plain variety, light white and red wines and rosé wines are recommended.
