Gesztenyepüré (“GEST-EN-YEE-POO-RAY”) is a popular dessert – so popular that it is sold frozen at grocery stores – especially during the winter. The chestnut purée is usually flavored with rum, forced through a ricer to serve and topped with whipped cream.
