Football Fan Brews Green Fradi Beer

fradi_beer.jpgA Nagykanizsa pub owner and enthusiastic Fradi fan has invented a green beer which he has already patented through the Hungarian Patent Office, reports origo.hu. Béla Szabó, known to locals as Béci bá, spent three years experimenting with light beer and liquors to develop his green beer, the exact ingredients of which are of course secret. The drink has an alcohol content somewhat higher than regular beer, thanks to the added liquor, which is popular among patrons visiting Szabó's pub, especially women. He has had Fradi fans from Zalakaros, Győr, Veszprém, Jászberény, Debrecen and Miskolc visiting his pub to taste this invention.

Szabó recently presented his green beer at the IDEA invention expo in Beremend, Baranya County, winning a certificate from organizers. Additionally, Belgrade's Serb Invention Office and the local Inventors' Association also awarded a certificate to Szabó for the green drink. The inventor is currently waiting for results from a Veszprém lab which will help him prove to everyone that the drink doesn't contain any artificial colorings.

Szabó's only reason to be sad is that his favorite team, after which his pub is named and which inspired the drink, didn't take him seriously and hasn't returned his calls.
