Ferenczy Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 (Sopron)

This wine from the Ferenczy Pincze was featured at Monarchia‘s 2008 portfolio tasting, and was retailing at that time for approximately Ft 3,000.

    Totally dies on the tongue. There any number of better wines for much less. Potable, but only as table wine.

    There are certainly worse, but there are also definitely better. This is nothing to write home about.

    It has an interesting mustiness on the nose and to an extent on the tongue, but generally disappointing for an expensive Cab.
