Feketeerdő torta

Black Forest Cake

While it’s not a Hungarian invention, Feketeerdő torta (“FEK-EH-TE-ER-DOO-TORE-TU”) is commonly found at Hungarian pastry shops which serve fancy layer cakes. It is chocolate layer cake with sour cherries, lots of whipped cream, and chocolate shavings on top.
