Fánk

While similar in many ways to their American cousins, fánk (“FAENK”) is often served on a plate topped with jam, to be eaten with a fork and knife. Fánkok are traditionally eaten during the Carnival season, when they are called farsangi fánk (Carnival doughnuts).
