We're currently doing some long-overdue site maintenance that will likely involve some outages, including a temporary shut-down of our commenting functions. We'll hopefully be done within a few days. In the meantime, thanks for your patience and concern!

Ezerjó

Grape Varietal

Ezerjó (“EZ-AIR-YAW”), often translated into the German “Tausendgut,” is an ancient Hungarian white grape that originates from Nógrád county but is now grown mainly in Mór, Kiskunság and Neszmély. The “thousand good” ripens early and is one of the sweetest and highest yielding Hungarian varietals, producing a wine rich in alcohol, thin on the nose and pleasantly tart.
