Drive Away Those Autumn Blues at the Pálinka Promenade

palinka promenade There is a bit of a nip in the air, so wrap up warm if you want to go on a romantic stroll and enjoy the majestic views of Buda and Pest. Or drop down to the Dunakorzó, the "promenade" extending between the Erzsébet and Lánchid bridges and get wasted on pálinka, Hungary's favourite winter warmer, at this year's Pálinka Promenád. Once again hundreds of types of pálesz made from dozens of fruit varieties will be lining up to be sniffed, sipped and swigged until the memories of summer come flooding back. Cheers.
