Fans of Disneyland architecture and home-style Hungarian food will appreciate this quick heads-up for Traditions, Flavors, Regions Festival to be held in Budapest’s Vajdahunyad Castle this weekend. The event is hosted by the Agricultural Marketing Board and promises the usual orgy of cheese, fried dough, soups, stews, wines and pálinkas. Hit me baby one more time.
Unfortunately, this was no Disney!
This was by far one of the crappier festivals we’ve been to in Budapest. The food was limited, expensive and unremarkable. Pitty!
I’m sorry to hear that, at least the weather was
nice, though.
There definitely are better festivals, luckily quite a few coming up
in the next month!
