Pig Killing

Disznóvágás ("DEES-NO-VAH-GUSH"), literally "pig cutting," refers to the ceremonial killing of pigs in the Hungarian countryside in winter. Disznóvágás is always followed by a feast of freshly-made pork products, called disznótor.
