The Lowdown: It's been five months and a day since we've published a proper review of a meal delivered to and eaten at our desk. In part this is because we moved offices to a place closer to more eat-out options. But it's more due to the fact that most of what's cross our desks on its way to our stomachs hasn't been worth writing about - that is, until this Monday at around 12:45 p.m.

While not as big in sheer size as you might expect from an all-you-can-eat restaurant chain, the signature pizza of the ever-expanding Trófea Grill empire is stunning for the audacity and quality of its toppings, and its all-you-can-eat-style value.

In (Hungarian) alphabetical order, the pie is topped with áfonya (blueberries), erdei gomba ("forest mushrooms"), fürjtojás (quail eggs), füstölt sajt (smoked cheese) and szarvas sonka (venison ham).

Before saying "bleech!," note that we've always had a strong aversion to what we grew up calling "garbage" pizzas, meaning pies piled high with anything other than cheese, tomato sauce and other traditional toppings. But damn if all this crazy stuff didn't work together like a charm, and if every one of them wasn't of very high quality, and prepared with the loving care you'd expect of the sort of nuts who put blueberries on pizza. And even the crust itself was pretty darn good, to the extent we noticed.

Add to all this a price that is no higher than for the average (i.e. crappy) pizza you can get over the wire in BP, and as far as we're concerned, you're looking at an instant legend.
