Csúsztatott palacsinta

Slipped Pancakes

Csúsztatott palacsinta ("CHUS-TU-TOTE-PAL-A-CHIN-TA") is basically a pancake cake which is created by making a stack of pancakes which have only been fried on one side, sprinkled with vanilla sugar, and then baked for a few minutes. It can also be made in other variations, such as spreading ground walnuts or chocolate between the pancakes. It is often topped with meringue at the end, and then baked for a few additional minutes.
