Balatonfüred-Csopak (“BAH-LAH-TON-FOO-RED-CHO.PAHK) is a picturesque wine region on the northern shore of Lake Balaton. The hills overlooking the ancient spa town of Balatonfüred produce more full-bodied, mineral-rich whites than those of Csopak, which are generally light and fruity. István Jásdi is the best-known winemaker in the region.
