Cserszegi Fűszeres

Grape Varietal

Cserszegi Fűszeres ("CHER-SEG-I FOO-SEHR-ESH"), a Hungarian white grape and hybrid of Irsai Olivér and Tramini, is an easy growing, high-yielding grape with high sugar levels. Due to its spicy, aromatic nature and lively lively acids, Cserszegi Fűszeres quickly became a popular grape for winemaking, particularly in the Alföld, Etyek-Buda and North Balaton regions.
