New Budget Restaurant Opens to Feed "Poor" Parliamentarians

At a buffet restaurant opened recently in the Parliament building, politicians can buy a lunch menu for Ft 410 (€1.60), fruit soup for Ft 160 and "Hawaiian chicken" for Ft 550, prices that are extremely low compared to average lunch prices, writes Hírszerző, based on a report in Blikk. The restaurant, which can seat 130, was built on the underground level for Ft 83 million, and the company which operates the restaurant rents the location for Ft 8.5 million a year from the Parliament. Clearly, they are not profiting from their new restaurant but from their four-year contract to feed the politicians at the Parliament building, who are paying prices you'd be lucky to find out in the countryside.
