We're currently doing some long-overdue site maintenance that will likely involve some outages, including a temporary shut-down of our commenting functions. We'll hopefully be done within a few days. In the meantime, thanks for your patience and concern!

Budai Zöld

Grape Varietal

Budai Zöld (“BOO-DA-EE ZUHLD”) is an ancient Hungarian white wine variety largely grown on the volcanic soils of the Badacsony and Somló regions. Wines produced from this grape are simple, light-greenish in color and refreshingly acidic. Budai Zöld is also used to pollinate Kéknyelű.
