Bogrács
Cauldron

A bogrács ("BO-GRATCH") is a cauldron used for cooking outdoors, usually over a wood fire. In Hungary it is most often an unpretentious, inexpensive item made from simple metal with an enameled coating, but can also be made from copper. Occasionally restaurants will serve gulyás and pörkölt from small ornamental bográcsok warmed with a candle or alcohol burner.
