You know what today is? It's the first anniversary (plus two days) of the launch of our still-unresolved Budapest Burgerwar™. As we've readily conceded several times, this war has turned out to be much longer - and, to judge from some related reader comment threads, far more bitter - than we could have ever guessed. So by any reasonable logic, we should be doing our best to bring the conflict to a close at once, even if it means withdrawing our troops before we've conquered all the remaining burgers to be eaten and rated in Budapest.

But we're not. Instead, we're going to follow the example of the country that put the burger on the map, and start a whole new war even while we're already bogged down in what increasingly looks like a quagmire of historic proportions. Unlike the Budapest Burgerwar, the Budapest Asian Invasion™ isn't actually a competition to find the best ázsiai étterem in town, just a quick blitz aimed at clearing the decks of some accumulated reviews we've been sitting on, and a good excuse to go do some more. We guarantee the action on our new "Eastern Front" it won't distract us from completing our other war, and that both will be done before you can say "mission accomplished," at least in Hungarian.
