Aprósütemény

Little Desserts

Aprósütemény ("APROH-SHOO-TEAU-MAY-NEE") simply means little desserts, and can be anything from a selection of cookies to cakes cut into bite-sized pieces. At traditional Hungarian weddings, there is usually a big spread of homemade aprósütemény for the guests to munch on during the receptions and after dinner.
