Alföld

Wine Region

Known predominantly for its white table wines, the Alföld (“AHL-FUHLD”) is the Hungarian name for the plains to the East of Hungary. The region is the largest in the country and comprises the sub-regions of Csongrád, Hajós-Baja and Kunság.
